Darwinian duality

Brute force biological evolution has been incredibly effective in getting to this point, but it’s a messy and chaotic grind. It’s violent and ruthless. In quiet moments I’ve often wondered why we choose to do this. What possible good can all of this ugliness do? I found my answer by accident through an ostensibly chance meeting.
It’s the game of finding you and falling in love over and over again is the magic that makes each incarnation such a lovely adventure.
I’ve seen you in thousands of faces. All different but perfect.
I’ve loved you and lost you and loved you again.
The polarity of the devastation of losing you followed by the sheer joy of rediscovering you.
I’m a junkie for this experience. May it be thus always.
